Prayer holds a central and powerful role in our church community. It is our privilege to lift up our families, church, communities, and nation in prayer. From January 4-24, we are dedicating this time for collective prayer and worship, both online and in-person.

Join us ONLINE Monday through Friday at 6:00 AM and IN PERSON on Saturdays at 9:00 AM. We will be uniting with Church Of The Highlands and believers worldwide through a simulcast. Missed a session? You can watch the broadcast On Demand for that day only.

21 Days of Prayer & Fasting Daily Devotional

Grace and Faith — Right Believing Produces Right Living

DAYS 1–5: SPIRITUAL VISION

Deeper discipleship · Greater devotion to God

Day 1 – Seeing God Clearly

Scripture (NKJV):
“Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.”
— Proverbs 29:18

Prayer Thought:
Spiritual vision begins with revelation. When we see God clearly, we live with purpose and direction.

Prayer:
“Father, open my eyes to see You clearly. Remove every wrong belief and misunderstanding. Let revelation guide my life. I choose right believing so my life will reflect right living. Draw me closer to You.”

Day 2 – Hunger for More

Scripture (NKJV):
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6

Prayer Thought:
God fills those who hunger for Him. Fasting sharpens spiritual desire.

Prayer:
“Lord, increase my hunger for You. I desire Your presence more than comfort or routine. Fill me with Your righteousness and deepen my devotion.”

Day 3 – A Transformed Mind

Scripture (NKJV):
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
— Romans 12:1–2

Prayer Thought:
Right believing renews the mind and produces transformed living.

Prayer:
“God, renew my thinking through Your Word. I surrender old patterns and embrace Your truth. Transform my life from the inside out.”

Day 4 – Walking as a Disciple

Scripture (NKJV):
“Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’”
— Luke 9:23

Prayer Thought:
Discipleship is daily surrender, not occasional commitment.

Prayer:
“Jesus, I choose to follow You daily. I lay down my will and take up Your purpose. Shape my heart and direct my steps.”

Day 5 – Abiding in Grace

Scripture (NKJV):
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself… neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”
— John 15:4–5

Prayer Thought:
Fruitfulness flows from abiding, not striving.

Prayer:
“Lord, I choose to rest in Your grace. Help me remain connected to You so my life produces lasting fruit.”

DAYS 6–10: PEOPLE VISION

Families · Salvations · Team & leadership development

Day 6 – A Heart for People

Scripture (NKJV):
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them…”
— Matthew 9:36

Prayer Thought:
Vision grows when compassion grows.

Prayer:
“Father, give me Your heart for people. Help me love genuinely and see others through Your eyes.”

Day 7 – Families Restored

Scripture (NKJV):
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
— Joshua 24:15

Prayer Thought:
Strong families build strong churches.

Prayer:
“Lord, bring strength, healing, and unity to families in our church. Let our homes honor You.”

Day 8 – Salvation Harvest

Scripture (NKJV):
“Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
— John 4:35

Prayer Thought:
The harvest is ready when the church is willing.

Prayer:
“God, we pray for salvations. Draw people to Jesus and use us as messengers of Your grace.”

Day 9 – Growing Leaders

Scripture (NKJV):
“And the things that you have heard from me… commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
— 2 Timothy 2:2

Prayer Thought:
Healthy churches intentionally develop leaders.

Prayer:
“Lord, raise up faithful leaders in our church. Develop servant hearts and strong character.”

Day 10 – Unity in the Body

Scripture (NKJV):
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
— Psalm 133:1

Prayer Thought:
Unity releases God’s blessing.

Prayer:
“Father, protect the unity of our church. Help us walk in love as we do life and ministry together.”

DAYS 11–15: IMPACT VISION

Influence · Generosity · Missions

Day 11 – Influence Beyond the Walls

Scripture (NKJV):

"You are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men…"
Matthew 5:14–16

Prayer Thought:
Our faith is meant to be lived beyond the church building. When we live from grace, our lives point others to Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord, let our lives shine beyond the church walls. Use us to influence others for You.

Day 12 – A Generous Spirit

Scripture (NKJV):

"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity…"
2 Corinthians 9:7–8

Prayer Thought:
Generosity is a response to grace, not pressure.

Prayer:
God, make us a generous people who trust You as our source.

Day 13 – Heart for Missions

Scripture (NKJV):

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…"
Matthew 28:19–20

Prayer Thought:
God’s heart has always been for the nations.

Prayer:
Father, expand our vision for the nations. Use our church to reach the world.

Day 14 – Serving Our City

Scripture (NKJV):

"And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away…"
Jeremiah 29:7

Prayer Thought:
Serving our city is a visible expression of our faith.

Prayer:
Lord, show us how to serve our city with love and excellence.

Day 15 – Faith That Works

Scripture (NKJV):

"Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
James 2:17

Prayer Thought:
Right believing produces right living.

Prayer:
God, let my faith be active and visible through love and service.

DAYS 16–20: FUTURE VISION

Next generation · Growth · Next steps

Day 16 – The Next Generation

Scripture (NKJV):

"One generation shall praise Your works to another…"
Psalm 145:4

Prayer Thought:
What we invest today shapes tomorrow.

Prayer:
Lord, raise up the next generation strong in faith and purpose.

Day 17 – Spiritual Legacy

Scripture (NKJV):

"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children…"
Proverbs 13:22

Prayer Thought:
Legacy is built through faithful obedience.

Prayer:
Father, help us build a lasting legacy of faith.

Day 18 – Sustainable Growth

Scripture (NKJV):

"Enlarge the place of your tent… spare not; lengthen your cords…"
Isaiah 54:2–3

Prayer Thought:
God grows what we prepare room for.

Prayer:
God, expand our capacity for growth and prepare us for what’s ahead.

Day 19 – Our Next Steps

Scripture (NKJV):

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…"
Psalm 37:23

Prayer Thought:
God leads us step by step.

Prayer:
Lord, guide our steps and give wisdom for every decision.

Day 20 – A Place to Call Home

Scripture (NKJV):

"Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might…"
1 Chronicles 29:2

Prayer Thought:
God provides places that serve His purpose.

Prayer:
Father, we trust You for provision and a home that advances Your purpose.

DAY 21 – CONSECRATION

Day 21 – All for His Glory

Scripture (NKJV):

"For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever."
Romans 11:36

Prayer Thought:
Everything begins with God and returns to Him.

Prayer:
Lord, we consecrate ourselves to You. Thank You for all You’ve done and all You will do. We commit to doing life and ministry for God and others. May everything bring You glory.
